Sometimes I feel like a broken record because I catch myself saying this over and over, but it’s necessary.

Do you want to save your skin from old age?

Do you want to look healthy?

Do you want to prevent wrinkles?

What are the worst things for your skin? Alcohol, cigarettes, and the sun. We all know about the first two, but seem to always want to forget about how badly the sun can damage our skin if we don’t protect it.

The other day, I went outside with a friend, it was 60° and sunny, not a cloud in the sky and I said, “Oh shoot, we forgot the sunscreen.”

She said, “Oh, but it’s not bad sun.”

Bad sun? Listen. It’s always bad sun. Even in the winter, it may feel cold, but if the sun is out, it can damage your skin. Now that spring is here and summer is coming, it’s even more essential to get that sunscreen on and keep it on. If you’re outside for more than 15 minutes, it’s necessary.

A RealSelf study showed that 80% of Millennial women don’t wear sunscreen regularly. That’s crazy. I know, you want to have a great tan for the summer, but trust me – when your skin isn’t sagging, and you don’t have large brown spots from over-burning, your older body will thank you.

There are a ton of amazing sunscreens out there that can help save your skin while loading it with anti-oxidants and extra nutrients. So what are you waiting for? Go get some sunscreen and save that skin!

It’s easier than you think to look young your whole life. Can you believe it’s this simple?
