I'm changing my ways today!

Since I could remember, my mother and other female adults told me to sit “ladylike,” which means with your legs crossed to prevent anyone looking at your crotch. While it wasn’t initially comfortable, draping one leg over the other knee becomes a unconscious movement most women seem to do. Now science is declaring that sitting with your legs crossed may be bad for you health in the long run.
