Fans say "it's so not okay"
Another day, another Kardashian-Jenner scandal. This time, it’s the baby of the bunch. Kylie Jenner is on the cover of Interview Magazine’s December issue, which features a full spread shot by Steven Klein. In a photo, Kylie poses, immobilized, in a custom gold wheelchair. The internet started throwing cyber daggers at the youngest of the K-clan, labeling her an “ableist,” one who discriminates or is prejudice against people with disabilities, especially physical disabilities.
The angriest of tweets came from fans who are actually confined to wheelchairs. One tweet, in particular, got the most attention, receiving well over 6,000 retweets and likes.
Despite the backlash, Interview quickly came to Kylie’s defense, claiming that the wheelchair photos were meant to be expressive, not offensive. “Our intention was to create a powerful set of pictures that get people thinking about image and creative expression, including the set with the wheelchair. But our intention was certainly not to offend anyone,” the magazine tells E! News exclusively.
Another unsettling matter in the magazine was Kylie’s comments about makeup. In a sit-down interview, Kylie drops a serious confession on her fans: She hates wearing makeup. When asked what would the real Kylie rather be doing than feeding into the timelines of social media, she tells Interview:
“I would probably just never dress up. I would never wear makeup, because I honestly hate wearing makeup. Lately, I’ve just been so over it. I feel like I’m way too young to wear such heavy makeup all the time. It’s just bad for your skin, but I’m always doing photo shoots or red carpets and events, so I just obviously want to look good.”
Confused much? Well, you should be, seeing that Kylie just released her new Lip Kit by Kylie line on Monday.
The 18-year-old who, earlier this year, admitted to getting lip injections, is idolized for her makeup “tricks” by young girls all over the world.
Kylie’s fans are serving super shade in response to her latest photoshoot. Check it out…
