No Shot. No School.

SB 277 is a very strict vaccine order that was signed by California Governor Jerry Brown in June 2015. It isn’t set to become law until July 2016, but if California parents didn’t file a personal belief vaccine exemption before January 1, they are in big trouble.

SB 277 eliminates a parent’s right to exempt their children from vaccinations. Starting July 1, California parents will be forced to give their children more than 40 doses of 10 federally recommended vaccines. The order will also allow the State of California to add more vaccines if and when they feel it’s necessary at any given time. Children can only be exempt if a doctor denies him/her due to medical reasons.
