Boosie Badazz Pissed About Disney’s First Gay Kiss

"You're forcing them to be gay!"

There’s no question as to where Boosie Badazz stands when it comes to gay rights. While he’s not a downright hating homophobic (hopefully), he’s complained in interviews in the past about the prevalence of the gay community in TV and the movies. “You got cartoons that have gays,” he criticized. “Like, these are kids! Let kids make their own decisions if they want to go that way. 6- and 7-year-olds shouldn’t be turned out to gay cartoons when they’re mind not even developed yet? What if they like how that cartoon talk? You’re forcing them to be gay.”

Right, because any gay person we’ve ever met tells their story of realization saying, “When I was a kid, I was totally straight, but after watching some cartoons of two boys kissing, I felt forced to like the same gender, and what do you know! Now I’m gay.” We digress.

Earlier this week, Disney made significant progress in gender acceptance when they aired their first ever scene of gays and lesbians kissing in an episode of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. The main characters go to a concert and in a quick clip, you see couples in the crowd kissing, including a gay and lesbian couple. Don’t worry parents, it was as G-rated as you could get.

Unfortunately, the Louisiana rapper was not about the scene and took to Instagram to complain about it captioning his photo, “This is why I don’t want my kids watching these fucking cartoons smh.” We guess he also won’t be letting his daughters and son watch Beauty and the Beast. What a shame. His followers had definite mixed reactions. Some took the opportunity to raise the hate writing things like, “Exactly, gay ass shit!”

Many others, however, felt a different sentiment and as one so eloquently put it, wrote, “son you ignorant as fuck. Read the paper or somthing and you’ll realize how dumb you sound. Gay people everywhere supporting all types of shit. You being close minded about gays is the same as people being close minded about race. You contradict your self and sounds stupid. FOH” There ya go. Let us know what you feel about this whole situation and be sure to SHARE this story!

I guess we’re not that surprised…
