Desigual is in full bloom! And there is no better way to showcase that than crowning your models with flowers at New York Fashion Week.

Some big names came out to see what the Barcelona brand had come up with for its spring/summer 2015 collection. Those in attendance included Sin City 2 star Rosario Dawson, supermodel Poppy Delevingne, socialite Olivia Palermo, Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, Miss USA 2012 Nana Meriwether, Vanderpump Rules’ Pandora Vanderpump, French Model Camille Rowe and Orange is the New Black’s Laura Gomez. In addition, the beautiful Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima kicked off and closed the show.

For the spring/summer 2015 collection the designers at Desigual along with designer Monsieur Christian Lacroix were inspired by nature’s flora and fauna. This season the brand presented a colorful, multi-cultural bouquet. A cool Mediterranean spirit was combined with South American motifs; classic English garden blooms met the Iberian Peninsula’s landscape; and a western countryside was influenced by sweeping European geometry.

Managing Director Manel Jadraque describes this season’s line as happy-ful. Happy because the brand is happy. Desigual is about colors, graphics and the result is very fresh…Ful means ethnic graphics…really it’s a mix of cultures,” Jadraque explains. And happy-ful it is. Desigual’s shows are always fun loving and high energy.
