Bloomingdale’s is under fire after releasing their recent holiday ad. In the ad, a woman is smiling with her head turned away, while a serious-faced man stares at her from behind, with the caption that reads, “Spike your best friend’s eggnog when they’re not looking.”

The internet went up in flames over the post, accusing Bloomingdales for advocating date rape.
Rape culture aside, it's not ok to get anyone drunk (or high, for that matter) without their consent. #Bloomingdales pic.twitter.com/iE5kKWbfZy

In case it needs saying,
DO NOT SPIKE YOUR BEST FRIEND'S EGGNOG.
OR ANYONE'S EGGNOG.
OR ANYONE'S DRINKS.
EVER.
