Say yes to the dress!

Bridal Fashion Week Fall 2015 wrapped up last week in New York City, and the event transformed every specialty bridal store, boutique and showroom into fairytale land for any woman. The dresses presented were exceptionally crafted, whimsical and fabulously unique for the big day. There was something for everyone in terms of color, shape, cut and style. If you want to feel like a princess, a goddess, or a femme fatal, you can pick the dress of your dreams from the designer of your choice!

This season, designers are exploring the “non-traditional wedding gown.” It’s all about highlighting the personality and personal style of the bride. So ladies, embrace your look, and let it shine through on that special day.

Also, the season features lots of lace and transparency, and a variety of embellishments–short dresses, long dresses, and forget about the white color! Now there are a range of pastels that you can wear while saying, “I do!”  Several bold two-pieces also caught my eye. It seems crop tops are transitioning into wedding gowns, but in my opinion a bridal gown should be mysterious, and not so revealing. Leave some parts to the imagination, ladies!

I am a bride myself, and have already picked out my favorites. Israeli designers Galia Lavah and Yaki Ravid both bring sexy and feminine proposals for the fierce and extroverted bride. Don’t miss out the chance to check out their websites!

I leave you with the dreamiest selection of wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week. If you are walking down the aisle any time soon, don’t miss this wonderful eye candy. The designers are Ines Di Santos, Reem Acra, Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka, Pnina Tornai, Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa and Angel Sanchez.
