Check out these amazingly awesome yet repulsive photo from Daily Monitor of Juma Kabigi. He’s a competitive eater in Uganda — I didn’t even know that was a thing there! Unlike in the West where we gorge on hot dogs, ramen and the like, the food for the competition is much simpler and arrayed in Uganda.

Juma ate three loaves of bread, eight chapatis (unleavened flat bread), 10 eggs, two raw cabbages, four apples and two bundles of raw green vegetables. Basically he ate all the foods! The prize was 10,000 Ugandan shillings, or approximately three U.S. dollars.

A lot of American competitive eaters seems to have an organized strategy, but Juma just seems to like to eat! Go, Juma, go!
