Stretching is incredibly important before every workout. While everyone requires a few different stretches pre-exercise, we found one stretch everyone should try.
Known as dynamic stretching, which stretches the body while in motion, it can help your muscle power and expand your range of motion.

Here’s a quick tutorial if you hate those videos:
1. Start in a push up position:
This will prep your core for the stretch.
2. Left foot to left hand:
Lift your left foot up to your left hand. If you can’t reach your left hand, that’s okay, just get as close as your can without feeling like your leg is going to pop out from your hip. This will stretch your hip and your groin.
3. Lift your left arm to the sky:
This part of the stretch mainly focuses on opening up your shoulders but will also will stretch your back and core.
4. Back to the push up position:
Fall back down to the push up position to reset your core.
5. Downward dog
Move to the yoga position downward dog. This will stretch your hamstrings, calves, and even your shoulders. Woohoo.
6. Switch to the other side.
Finally, move back to the push up position and repeat the motions on your right side.
