For some reason engagement photos have become a thing/trend. The happy couple clogs up your Facebook newsfeed with countless over-the-top sappy photos while you sit at home alone with your cat and Netflix and udon noodles crying yourself to sleep in your big bed all alone. Wait. What? Let’s move on. It was only a matter of time before someone would come up with a genius way to spoof them and that person is San Francisco-based writer David Sikorsky. He took some romantic engagement-like pictures with the love of his life — a Carne Asada burrito from Taqueria La Cumbre.
“I’ve reached the age where my Facebook is now filled with engagement and baby photos. Back in 2005/2006, it was filled with incriminating photos of my friends’ weekend escapades. With so many domesticated photos of staged afternoon picnics in the park or holding hands running along the beach, I figured people would be interested in sharing the happiness of my own current love life situation as well,” said Sikorsky, 28.

Please SHARE if you love love. And burritos.
The partnership and love between a man and his burrito is a beautiful thing.
