Have you heard of The Push-Up Challenge? It claims that in just six weeks you can do 100 consecutive push-ups. Summer is here and lots of people are in fitness mode for their beachwear. And if you don’t have a routine yet, it’s never too late to start.
What the Push-Up Challenge asks you to do is to add just one more push-up everyday to what you can already do. So if you can only do five today, tomorrow try for six. Now 100 push-ups seems a high to me because I can only do a handful to start. We propose you do this in just month and get to whatever you can do plus thirty more. After your month is up, it’s up to you if you want to try to get to 100. They say working out is addictive, so maybe it’s not a crazy goal. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s start with what we can do. Even if you can only do one push-up, doing thirty at the end of the month is really impressive.
If getting started is a challenge in itself, you can always do a modified pushup. Don’t feel bad, it’s not cheating and it’s better than no push-ups.
The best part about the challenge is that it only takes a few seconds to a few minutes a day. You can do your push-ups in your bedroom, living room or even office space if you don’t mind an audience.
What are you waiting for? Get pushing!
It’s easier to stick to the challenge if you have a friend doing it with you, so please SHARE.
