Lose Your Love Handles in 10 Minutes!

Tired of rolls forming around your waistline? Wishing you could get rid of your love handles once and for all? We’re right there with you! Thankfully, there are some simple exercises you can do to say goodbye to love handles forever.


To help burn the fat around your waist, you’re going to need to do a few exercises that will focus on your core. What also helps a little cardio to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. Get that timer ready…here we go!

10 Minute Love Handle Workout

1 minute of jumping jacks

Start with some simple jumping jacks. This is to get a little cardio in before focusing on strength training. One minute should get your heart pumping, but if you’re not there yet, add an extra 30 seconds.

2 minutes of wood choppers

Using a exercise ball or a free hand weight, this is a good exercise that will focus on your core, hamstrings, and glutes. Pivot your legs and hips with the weight as you move from left to right in a diagonal motion. Do one side for a minute then switch to the other side.

1 minute of jumping jacks

Repeat as you want that heart rate moving.

2 minute of Russian twists

Why is this called Russian twists? Maybe this is how they dance in Russia. Either way, this is a tough little exercise that’s going to help burn fat in the core. You’re using your abs to hold up your torso and legs while using an exercise ball or free weight to challenge that core.

1 minute of jumping jacks

Come on, you know you love them!

2 minutes of bicycle crunches

Oof, I hate these but—boy—do the help burn that fat! The big thing to focus on here is to keep your hands interlocked behind your head and to not use your neck to lift yourself up. Otherwise, have…fun?

Okay, that’s it. Wait — was that only 9 minutes? That’s right. For the last minute, I want you to think about your body and remember that the best way to look and feel good is to have CONFIDENCE. Do the things that make you feel good.

As well, if you do want to lose your love handles, take that last minute to state your goals, tell yourself what you want, and make it happen!
