Ice cream cone? Oh, yes. Sushi cone? Maaaaaybe. But what’s the point of the pizza cone? Why try to improve on something that’s fine as it is? The only things I can think of are:
1. That it makes driving and eating pizza a little easier.
2. There is the fact that you get more cheese/sauce/topping ratio to crust. but you might as well eat a Hot Pocket if that’s your fancy.
3. The cheese stays hotter, therefore stays gooey-er.
There are even restaurants that make the pizza cone their thing. So, while unnecessary and gimmicky, the pizza cone is quite fun. Especially if you can get the cone part all crusty and crispy. But I’m not quite sure how to properly eat the giant ones which just look like open calzones. Check out the photos!
