It seems silly to think about, but it’s true: tupperware can help you lose weight.
Of course, it’s all about the right tupperware.
We’ve all been there. We’re getting ready for work, and we’ve committed to bringing our own lunch to try and save some money and eat a little healthier. So you grab a tupperware and load it up with salad, veggies– oh, don’t forget some cheese! Slice some avocado, add some olives, and all of a sudden you’ve got a pretty loaded lunch in a tupperware that holds servings for two to three people, and you’re just one tiny person.
Tupperware helps the most when you choose the right size for your needs. Instead of using “just whatever” tupperware is available, elect instead only specific pieces that equal a serving size for you.
For your little add ons, put them in a separate tupperware to make sure you have the right amount. A serving size of mixed vegetables (add tomatoes, carrots, green beans, corn, peppers, and broccoli– go crazy), should all fit into a one-cup tupperware.
Eating at the right serving size is one of the best ways to eat the kind of foods you like without overdoing it. Make sure to bring some healthy snacks if you do get the munchies though. Fresh fruit and veggies are the best way to go.
