Have you heard of Marie Kondo yet? Maybe you’ve heard about her revolutionary book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Kondo’s method of organizing is known as the KonMari method, and the gist of it is gathering together everything you own and then keeping only those things which “spark joy,” then choosing a place for everything left. She is a successful Japanese organizing consultant who has written three other books.
Kondo says that clothing shouldn’t be stacked on top of each other because it takes up more space. Instead, clothes should be folded compactly so they can stand up in the drawer. If you’re like us, you’re still folding your t-shirts like a chump. And messing up your folded clothes in the drawer when trying to get one out. Kondo and Huffington Post made this great short video on the better way to fold and store your t-shirts. Bachelors, we’re talking at you.
