WWE gone wild
In today’s WWE world, they make it a priority to specify that they’re programs are family appropriate. They also make it a point to let fans know they are serious about concussions, keeping wrestlers healthy and the avoidance of drugs.
This hasn’t always been the case. There was a time when the WWE incorporated things that made them more racy and cutting edge. In the 90s, WWE’s Attitude Era was what they called their PG-13 programming. Their raunchier, R-Rated content played out on pay-per-view and home videos.
In 2002, the brand returned to family-friendly content, rarely showing adult programming. But we still have those racy moments that left fans jaw-dropped.
