The first step is knowing that it will be hard, but it's not really about you.

You start out as friends, or worse, best friends. Then accidental lovers. Then you’re so wrapped up in each other that you don’t notice the outside world. You have a love child, and then, all of a sudden, things go left. You try to scrape the pieces of your relationship together and attempt to co-parent your child. Tough, isn’t it?

Breakups are hard enough. But when a child is involved, you realize that it’s time to put your big girl panties (or big boy drawers) on and make it work. When you make a baby with a future ex-lover, it feels like a cruel joke has been played on you. Well, it hasn’t. And it doesn’t have to be the end of the world if you can stay positive and follow these steps.
