And not just one!

If you’ve payed attention to the news recently, you might have noticed that the Church of Scientology has made it into the headlines more than a couple times. They’ve been criticized for not believing in psychiatry and allowing their members to suffer through their mental health disorders, are the source of multiple disappearances, and most recently, publicly threatened Leah Remini. Unfortunately, things are about to get a lot worse.

Early Friday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that they are currently investigating Scientology celebrity and former That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson in “at least three alleged cases of rape or sodomy of women.” All of the women involved in the case were also Scientologists but were told by their Church elders not to come forward to the police in fear of bad publicity. Well the jokes on them, all publicity revolving around the religion is usually terrible.

The victim explained, “They threatened me that if I ever told anyone or reported him to the police that I would be declared a ‘suppressive person’ and lose everything and everyone. Then they put me on a massive ethics program as punishment. My rapist was not punished at all. They didn’t even call him to talk about it. I ended up breaking up with him two months later.”

Remini, who has been exposing the Church’s secrets on her show Scientology and the Aftermath claims that one of the women came to her with her story to which she said to go to the police. She then allegedly got involved more deeply when two other women came forward. Because of this new news, the LAPD are reopening another similar rape case from 2004 that was earlier dismissed.
