Flunking Its First Inspection

Atlanta’s Escobar Restaurant and Tapas has only been open for a couple of months and things are not going well for the 2 Chainz-owned establishment. The restaurant’s first health inspection since its grand opening is a harsh reminder that celebrity owned restaurants don’t always take off smoothly.

We’ve seen it happen a million times: an A-list celeb uses their name to back a half-baked idea of a “sure shot” and falls flat on their face. Remember Hulk Hogan’s “Pastamania”? No? Me neither. Just the name “Pastamania” sounds like it would be dirty. If I had to guess though, they probably served pasta…

2 Chainz’ Escobar was cited for three major violations and a laundry list of other questionable food handling infractions. Citing raw seafood next to utensils, “red-mold” in the ice machine, and sub-par bathroom conditions- the new restaurant, co-owned by Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, might not make it through the end of the year considering the other problems they discovered…
