Michael Jackson Reincarnated
William Ryan has taken the internet by storm. His dancing will make you want to get up out of your seat and join him and his video will melt even the coldest heart. The 8-year-old showed off his dancing skills on camera by performing Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” choreography. William was taking place in a competition that was being held by Aspects Holiday, which is a cottage leasing agency. Aspects Holidays placed webcams outside of their offices in the town of St. Ives in England. The rules of the competition were for people to come out and dance in front of these cameras. The participant the company felt had the best dance moves were to be given a prize.
Dance like no one’s watching
The competition went on for five days and the company had the joy of viewing dozens of entries. Of all the wonderful entries, one dancer stood out to them the most. William Ryan stood in front of the Aspects Holidays and perfectly performed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in front of the camera. The best part is that William is literally dancing like no one is watching. People gathered around to watch him dance and it didn’t slow him down. The marketing manager of the company, Doug Howard, told CBS News, “We noticed him doing it when we got into the office and we’re amazed by how good he was.”
We have a winner!
The video has had over 103,000 views since being posted to the company’s Facebook on Thursday. William was diagnosed with autism three years ago. His mother says, “He struggled to communicate, struggled academically in school and continues to struggle to socialize and make friends, but about eighteen months ago his Dad introduced him (via YouTube) to the wonders of Michael Jackson and he watched his videos for hours on end and learned all his routines by heart.” I think this goes without saying, but in case you were wondering, William won the contest. Check out the video up next.
William Ryan’s moves are a Thriller.
