I love essential oils. Not only do they smell wonderful, but they have so many different uses for home and body. Don’t know where to purchase them? Check out your local health food store (most will range from $5 to $10) or there are lots of purveyors online. Check out my favorite 8 uses for bottles of affordable natural essential oils.

1. Stuffy noses

With the start of the weather change comes colds. Help unstuff that nose with a couple drops of eucalyptus oil inside your tissue box.

2. Bathroom

Use essential oils to scent your bathroom by dripping a few drops on the inside of a tissue roll. It will keep emitting the fragrance for days.

3. Headache remedy

I’m allergic to anti-inflammatories like Tylenol and Aleve, so I use peppermint oil on my temples and chest to alleviate headaches. It works!

4. Breath spray

Buy or reuse an empty tiny spray bottle. Mix 1/4 cup warm water, 1/4 teaspoon honey and 10 drops peppermint essential oil. Cheap, easy and all natural.

Inexpensive essential oils will save you money on products.
