By now, unless you live under a rock, you know that juicing, juice cleanses, and detoxing is the hottest thing under the sun. I know here in NYC you can’t walk half a block without running into a juice bar. At home, juicing is at an all time high thanks to gadgets like the NutriBullet.

I must admit: I truly love incorporating fresh juices into my diet, especially the green ones! It’s quite possibly the easiest way to get a salad into your body! Now, I’m about to take this whole juicing thing to the next level with this gem of a product. The company is called EatPops and they have stumbled upon a genius idea: juice popsicles.

Not Just Fruit… But Juice Popsicles!

I know what you are thinking, Olivia, there has been whole fruit popsicles on the market for years! True but what if I told you that you could get a Green Detox popsicle that tasted delicious and the ingredients were kale, spinach, apple, pineapple, lemon, ginger, and cayenne? That’s right, your daily green juice in a tasty cold treat!

My 3 Favorite Detox Popsicles

I actually bought these in my neighborhood grocery store. They were sitting right there next to the Ben & Jerry’s in the freezer section. At first I had a small inner eye roll because I thought, oh, geez that’s not a treat. Then I started thinking about how refreshing they would be on a hot summers day. Also, they are all very low in calories and filled with nutrients. There are three flavors that I could find:

1. Super Detox

This one contains acai, noni, gogi, and cherry. Out of all three this one was my favorite. It tasted like a yummy berry treat, and it turned my mouth purple which was hilarious!

2. Glow

The components to this pop are carrot, mango, and pineapple. I was very surprised by this one. It has a really strong carrot flavor which I loved. Usually, I find things with pineapple and mango over sweet, but this one had the perfect balance.

3. Green Detox

This green machine has kale, spinach, apple, pineapple, lemon, ginger, and cayenne. It tasted  like it sounds — green and spicy. For me, it was my least favorite, but I still really liked it. Out of all of the pops I felt the best after eating this one as it made me feel healthy. Anyone else feel that way after chugging a green juice? It’s like the best pat on the back ever.

So stop chasing the ice cream man this summer and talk to your local grocery store manager and get these puppies in your neighborhood store! You did know you can do that right? Just a tip, most grocery stores will special order items that you request. Give it a try!

Anyway, I’d love to know what you think about these innovative summer treats! Let me know in the comments below which one you want to try! You can also find more info about EatPops on their website!

Stay Happy and Healthy!
