Looking to make dinner more exciting?

When you were a kid, the words “breakfast for dinner,” brought a smile to your face and lit up your eyes with pure joy. Now, it’s just sad to think about eating Cocoa Puffs over the sink in your underwear. But, guess what, you can feel like that excited kid again with these three breakfasts for dinner.

The trouble is you need to find breakfast meals that are hearty and healthy. After all, you need your nutrition, and a sugar-filled stack of pancakes is not the way to get it. We picked three of our favorite breakfast means to share with you today.

Three Breakfast for Dinner Ideas

1. Egg in Avocado

This meal is super simple, but packed with a bunch of good nutrients. At its most simple form, you cut an avocado in half, take out the pit, scoop just a little extra of the avocado out, and then crack an egg inside. All you have to do is back it for 15 minutes and 350° and, viola, dinner is served!

In a more decorated form, you can top the egg with chopped green onion, garlic, bits of bacon, and more! I prefer mine with a few dashes of hot sauce to spice it up.

Serve with some greens and sliced grape tomatoes on the side for extra nutritional benefits.

2. A Hearty Omelette

Making a quick omelette with a few ingredients might be fine for breakfast, but you want to fill it yourself up for dinner. That’s why you need to get yourself a big pile of vegetables to make this hearty, filling, and all kinds of delicious. We recommend tomatoes, spinach, shredded carrots, corn, and capers. Fry the veggies on a pan for a few minutes before adding it to the omelette to make sure they’re all at the same temperature when the egg is done.

Serve with a dollop of greek yogurt and you’re ready to go!

3. Breakfast Tacos

Oh, I love a breakfast taco. What’s not to love. Tacos? Check. Scrambled Eggs? Check. Queso, beans, and chorizo? Come to Papa! The trick here is to add a good mix of veggies with your less healthy ingredients to make this filling and nutritional. I recommend making your scrambled eggs with a splash of milk, and to cook them until they’re slightly drier. Otherwise, they’ll soak through the tortilla.

There you have it!
