I love spending time in the kitchen doing what other people consider “too much work.” Turning artichokes, cleaning squid, dicing vegetables — give me more! But I do get lazy and frustrated sometimes so I’m always on the looking out for tips and tricks to make my life in the kitchen easier and faster.

Check out this these three hacks and try them out yourself.

2. Closing that box of pasta

I don’t know why pasta makers don’t make the tops of their cardboard boxes like cereal tops. To keep yours shut and secure, use a simple paperclip.

3. Separating egg yolks

I’ve been using my hands like a sucker and getting them all sticky and dirty!
